 EPIC International was founded and is directed by Roscoe Brewer. For over 35 years, he has implemented missionary ventures and projects worldwide. He is a noted missions strategist and popular speaker for the cause of world evangelization.He founded S.M.I.T.E. (Student Missionary Intern Training for Evangelism) in 1965 and thousands of youth and adults have ministered in hundreds of countries in short term programs through this ministry. He is the former chairman of the missions department of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. Roscoe lives in the Atlanta area with his wife, Margaret. They have four children and nine grandchildren.  Phil Disney has been in ministry for 23 years, having graduated in 1984 from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia with a degree in Cross-Cultural Church Planting and Pastoral Theology. He has a wide range of ministry as well as vocational experiences. Phil has served as the Senior Pastor of two churches in the United States, and as a Missionary in Guatemala with the Summer Institute of Linguistics (Wycliffe Bible Translators). While in Guatemala he also served as a Field Representative for Helps International.Vocationally, Phil is a skilled writer, editor, and an award-winning graphic designer. He continues to maintain a small business called Clarity Design Studio. The purpose of which is to provide outreach and marketing tools for churches as well as on-sight consultation for leadership and team development. Phil serves EPIC as the director for Church Planter Sponsorships which coordinates sponsors and donors in the U.S. with national field leaders or church planters. Phil has been married to Jana for 25 years and they have three children: Tyler, Kristen and Casey.  Larry Bennett is an experienced missions trainer to developing world pastors and leaders. He has conducted and directed training in Eastern Europe, Asia, Latin America and the USA.He attended Liberty University and Luther Rice Seminary. He is an experienced pastor, church planter and counselor. He has conducted Exchanged Life Conferences in local churches through out the USA as well as several foreign countries. His conference manual has been translated into Russian, Romanian, Hungarian, Hindi, Nepalese, Burmese, Chinese and Spanish. Larry has a passion for church planting and believes that aggressive and rapid multiplication of churches will be the end-time method of fulfilling the great commission in our lifetime. He has been married to Brenda for 36 years. They have three adult children and three grandchildren. They make their home in Ellijay, which is located in the North Georgia Mountains. Johnny Hall, one of America's most gifted and versatile Christian figures, is the Project Coordinator with EPIC for work among the Behdini speaking Kurds in northern Iraq. His work entails directing church planting effort among the Kurds through training and discipling national believers, village-level projects, and leading short term trips. Over the last 32 years, Johnny has worked with many national leaders and their ministries and has been influential in many Christian endeavors from revivals to evangelistic crusades and seminars. Johnny aslo has the distinct honor to be the newly appointed national director for Muslim Bible Day. Johnny and his wife Teri, have been married for 27 years and have three sons, Adam, Aaron, and AJ.  Jana Disney is the church relations coordinator. She graduated in 1984 from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia with a degree in Cross-Cultural Church Planting and Family Counseling. She has been a partner in ministry with her husband, Phil, for 23 years. During that time she has held a variety of positions. She is a dynamic worship leader and vocal coordinator and Local Bible Study Facilitator in her neighborhood. She has been a teacher in two Christian schools, Church Sunday School Director, Assistant in Women’s Ministry, and Administrator for Clarity Design Studio. Her top three spiritual gifts are Leadership, Administration and Faith.Jana is a tremendous team player and a faithful and supportive wife to Phil and mother to their three children, Tyler, Kristen and Casey. She is multi-talented and multi-tasking and has a passion for reaching the unreached peoples of the world.  Joyce Jackson is the administrative assistant to the Director of EPIC as well as the coordinator for EPIC's English as a Foreign Language (EFL) programs overseas. She has served for over 20 years in church ministries and missions. Joyce is committed to using English as a Second Language and English as a Foreign Language to build relationships and open doors for church planting with the various people groups of EPIC. Joyce, and her husband Mike, reside in Canton, Georgia. They have 5 children ranging in age 17-24, and two grandchildren. Margaret Brewer has been a partner in ministry with her husband, Roscoe, for over forty years. During that time she has served in many capacities in various local church ministries. Today, she is the Office Coordinator for EPIC and responsible for donor relations. Additionally, she serves as a project coordinator.Margaret is a native of Oklahoma and has been married to Roscoe for 47 years. They minister together in local churches across the U.S. as representatives for EPIC. After having raised four children, her greatest joy is spoiling her eight grandchildren. When asked about the remainder of her life, she will state, “My goal is to finish well the course that God called me to…and see our world reached with the Gospel.” |
