EPIC is involved in Scripture distribution throughout Central and South Asia as well as the Middle East. Many of these efforts in Muslim dominated areas are done at great risk to local believers. Others are implemented in countries where the Word of God is received without incident.
Scripture distribution is considered part of church planting by EPIC. In other words, there is an end in mind and distribution is not it. Often in the Bible producing world, the project become an end in itself rather the purpose for which the project was birthed. The “making of disciples” is the ultimate goal of EPIC for the distribution of Bibles. Evangelism is involved in this process but disciples producing disciples is the purpose.
For an average cost of $5.00, it is possible to print and distribute a copy of the Scriptures in most places in the world. Distribution costs varies depending on the country and underground operations. But generally, $5.00 will make it possible. EPIC focuses on placing Bibles in the Muslim world and with our partnerships have given hundreds of thousands of Scriptures among people groups held in the darkness of Islam.
Under normal circumstances, the Scriptures distributed are given by church planters or local believers committed to planting churches through evangelizing and discipling. Join us in reaching out to those who have never had a copy of the Word of God.
