Ashis Biswas is one of EPIC’s finest Partner leaders in India. He and his team are actively planting churches in West Bengal among the Bengali Hindus. Ashis and his wife, Soma, are Bengali. Both of them were born into Christian families and raised in Kolkata. They have a son named Rohit. Ashis and Soma work exclusively among the Bengali people. Their great burden is to evangelize and disciple the Bengali people through church planting.
The Team
Ashis is leads a church planting team that is planting hundreds of churches among the Bengali. Part of their strategy is to administer social programs through which several women and underprivileged Bengali have found Christ. Their focus is on the North Bengal districts of Cooch Behar, Jalpaiguri, and Darjeeling. Their goal is to see a minimum of 100 house churches started every year.
